About Torremolinos

Torremolinos

Torremolinos is one of the oldest tourist destinations on the Costa del Sol, sitting right on the doorstep of Málaga. The city has a population of around 70,000 and is defined by a mix of lively beachside neighbourhoods such as La Carihuela and Playamar, alongside quieter residential areas spread across the hillside ridge towards the centre. The property stock is largely made up of apartment buildings from the 1970s and 1980s, with a growing share of renovated units and new-build developments.

There are currently no active projects within this network for Torremolinos. As a result, available listings on this platform are limited.

Buyers tend to fall into three broad groups: Spanish purchasers looking for an affordable beach apartment, European retirees seeking a permanent base in the sun, and investors targeting the holiday rental market. Strong transport links to Málaga Airport and the city centre via the Cercanías commuter rail line make Torremolinos an equally appealing choice for those planning extended stays.
